Dear friends, Our brother Atama Ronald has been diagnosed with End Stage Kidney disease (Kidney failure) and is currently undergoing dialysis at Panaroma medical Center in Kampala to sustain his life for a while. He needs an urgent kidney transplant in Indida which will cost approximately 30,000 US Dollars (about 85 milling shillings). These costs include travel for the patient, donor and attendant. The family has raised only 20 million shillings. Atama comes from Lodonga in Yumbe district and is an employee of Post Bank. He is a young father, a bread winner and a resource to this country. Given our history, there a very few people in our region like Atama who got to where they are through lots of sacrifice and pain. The young people who overcame all kinds of hurdles to get an education are the people today who have a focus in life, and are the people who will take our region forward. We can not afford to loose them that early without a fight. Besides, life is sacred and priceless. I therefore appeal to all of us especially WestNilers to do whatever we can to save Atama's life. We are organizing information on where to send contributions. By tomorrow, we shall post it here and other media. All kinds of support including prayers to Atama and his family are greatly appreciated. God bless you.
