Last Thursday, Zambia did the unthinkable. Rejecting a billion dollars from
the IMF (Lusaka Times news report). Money supposedly aimed at "stabilizing
the economy" claims IMF.
However, the chain attached to the funds is hooked to an IMF-imposed
economic austerity. A diplomatic word for intentional impoverishment.
The IMF first demands that we impoverish our countries as a pre-requisite
to getting aid.
The subsequent reality is a perpetual need for more aid money. Dependency
shackles serving untold global geo-strategic politics.
That is what Foreign Aid cash is.
A tool for patronizing Africa while claiming humanitarian care yet
maintaining nations in perpetual poverty and political subservience.
There is no record of a single country that has become prosperous after
decades of IMF aid programs.
Yet a few countries have shown that with their own hard work, better
resources management, and patriotic dedication, a country can gain world
respect and economic prosperity for their people.
It isn't foreign aid that made a peasant farming China the second biggest
economy in the world today.
Russia has single-handedly revitalised all its industries from modern
aviation to agriculture, oil & gas to telecommunications.
If Russia depended on western aid, we also wouldn't be seeing the respected
Vladimir Putin that we are all praising since he took on international
terrorists.
In Africa, Zambia has shown us what we all need to start doing.
Surprisingly, it is the IMF that is frustrated because they couldn't give
Zambia the money.

WAKE UP AFRICA!
