He might have other political flaws, but if you follow closely, you'll notice that first Mr. Obama made a trip to Cuba, a country in conflict with the US since the 1961 invasion of Cuba and the Cuba missile crisis. Then he was in Vietnam, a country against which the US waged and lost a devastating war that lasted 19 years (from 1955 to the fall of Saigon in 1975). And yesterday Mr. Obama was in Hiroshima where the US dropped the first ever atomic bomb on 6th August 1945. The significance of these historic "firsts" for a sitting US President shouldn"t be ignored as no other US president felt that it was worth their time.
