While Uganda officially got its independence in 1962, President Idi Amin is
the leader who brought the true end to colonialism by conquering British
economic and political supremacism out of Uganda in 1972.
Idi Amin did for Ugandans what Nelson Mandela failed to do for indeginous
South Africans after Apartheid: Taking over their own country economically
as well.
