You are right! Anonymous is not a banned outfit in India, essentially the govt does not know who to ban, as they have not yet caught anyone! However, their public facing activities in India has so far involved cracking of government servers and IT infrastructure. That is clearly a serious crime under both Indian as well as the international law. > AFAIK, Anonymous is not a well-formed legal entity even. It stands to common logic, that a traditional well-formed legal entity can't carry out the activities of Anonymous and still expect not to be shutdown by governments around the world. However, they did serious oppose an attempt to trademark their logo and slogan in 2012 by a french company http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2012-07/31/trademark-anonymous-logo http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2012-08/01/anonymous-wages-war cheers -idg -- Indranil Das Gupta Phone : +91-98300-20971 Blog : http://indradg.randomink.org/blog IRC : indradg on irc://irc.freenode.net Twitter : indradg -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Please exchange editable Office documents only in ODF Format.
