    ** SSL (`https') pages now work if you compile Wget with SSL support;
    use the `--with-ssl' configure flag.  You need to have OpenSSL
    installed.

Linking GPL-covered software with OpenSSL poses legal issues.
They can be solved, but it requires some explicit attention.
