Howdy,
I'm the lead developer for the AIX Toolbox, a project where we make
popular open source software available for AIX in RPM format. wget is in
that set of software.
I've had a couple of requests to upgrade wget to 1.7, but the home page
http://subsite.dk/wget still shows the stable version as 1.6 (though
freshmeat shows the default level as 1.7.
Is 1.6 indeed still considered the stable version, or is the home page
outdated?
(I'm trying out 1.7.1 now as requested)
