Dear Developer(s),

I'm using MS Windows version of WGET (Wget 1.8.1-pre3+cvs) and I have
trouble grabbing ASP web sites with URL like this for example:

http://www.abc.com/gitis/GInfoTI_tender_head.asp?category=byhead&regauth
=BCA&suphead=CR03

It will try to save the text/html stream to the file name:

GInfoTI_tender_head.asp?category=byhead&regauth=BCA&suphead=CR03.html

But MS Windows file naming convention does not allow characters like =
or ? so WGET generates an error saying that it has problem saving the
html.

I've used the option -E to force the HTML extension, but it only helps
that much by appending the HTML. It does not correct the file name to MS
Windows convention. In addition to that I have also applied -nd -nc
options but it still doesn't improve my situation.

I hope you can solve this problem.

And for the last and most important thing before I end the mail, I want
to express my utmost gratitute for what you guys had developed. WGET is
one of the greatest tools that I've ever wanted to have and you have
realised my dream. Great work and keep it up guys. :)

Best Regards,
Michael Chan
