Good afternoon all.

What is the current status of the ability of wget to delete obsolete files
that exist on the local machine but no longer exist on the target server?

I have an old copy of rmold.pl (but no usage instructions and I don't know
perl). I believe it came with wget version 1.5.3. Is that one still the
recommended one to use?

How do I use it? Is it something like

        "rmold.pl ftp://ftp.x.com/pub/subdir";

If so, would it then delete obsolete files on that directory (on the local
machine) and all subdirectories?

My apologies if this is a FAQ but I haven't been able to find any
definitive information on deja.com or any of the wget websites.

Thanks to all..

Eric
