Hi, Wget replaces double slashes in the path of an url by a single slash. I have been reading the RFCs, but have not been able to find any indication that http://host/a//b/ and http://host/a/b/ should be treated as equivalent.
If you have a reference that says this is correct behaviour, could you please send it to me? (And you might want to include a comment in the code to prevent future questions) Or if you don't have such a reference, please consider this mail a bug report. Please let me know what you think of this. Best regards, Maurice. -- Maurice van der Pot Gentoo Linux Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.gentoo.org Creator of BiteMe!
