Hi,

I tried to download a number of files using wget from a server. with a command similar to

this works without a problem from a Windows box to Windows and/or to Linux but not to AIX
similar the same result from Linux to AIX.
the response is : No such file *.msg

I have noticed thet the .listing file for AIX Linux and Windows differ

all AIX .listing files contain in the first line the Blocks i.e.

total 178
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     system            0 06 Oct 11:08 afile-051006.log
-rw-r-----   1 root     system            0 06 Oct 11:06 afile.txt
-rw-r-----   1 mmyrtek  sysadmin         85 10 Dec 2004  .checkstyle
-rwxrwxrwx   1 root     sysadmin        414 27 Jun 18:02 clearLogsPPC

all Windows and Linux .listing file do not have this extra line

-rw-r--r--    1 500      500        898048 Oct 07 15:44 libiconv2.dll
-rw-r--r--    1 500      500        103424 Oct 07 15:44 libintl3.dll
-rw-r--r--    1 500      500        263680 Oct 07 15:44 wget.exe

is it possible that thats the cause for this behaviour?

If I specify the full filename no such errors occur.

Regards Mike
