I like the approach Micah is taking to password prompting. No matter what he did, you'd likely have to submit a patch to customize password prompting for VMS. If you submit a patch for a GNU library (and that project accepts it) then that fix will become available for every future GNU application that is released on VMS. > I'll relax and wait for things to deteriorate. :-) I think you should give Micah the benefit of the doubt.
