I have an
NT service installed on my servers. It is prone to stopping for reasons
unknown. I have installed the NT service plug-in and can monitor the
service.
I can have
the service restarted on failure.
OR,
I can have
a message sent, pop-up, SMTP, etc., and get an event logged in the WhatsUp
Event Log.
I would
like all of these things to occur, (i.e. to know that the service stopped
and was restarted, and when) so that I can keep the service up and still
troubleshoot.
Any
insight?
