Thanks for your suggestions. I did have it set for TCP but when I changed
it to UDP, it didn't make a difference.

WUG is also monitoring DNS, SNMP, and I have another Custom Service for
Lotus Notes (TCP 1352) which seem to be working fine.

I also changed the timeout value to 3 with no change but am curious why I

When you setup your service, did you select TCP or UDP.  It should be UDP.
If that's not the problem try lowering your timeout to 2 or 3.

I'm trying to monitor DHCP services on an NT server unsuccessfully.

I've set up a custom service called DHCP with a port of 67 and timeout of
10.

I have several NT servers with DHCP,  yet WUG never gets a response back.

I am running WUG 6.02 as an application.

Is there anything else I need to do?
