I think 14all-1.1.cgi is quite a useful script for handling all the graphs
for it automates the HTML generation.

This script generates HTML files containing the PNGs by day , month , week
,year and so on.

To All,
Just open the notes field for the item you want to add the PNG
graph. Use the following format....

Description Field
</table><a href="http://ip-address of WEB Server/monitored-device.html">
<img border="0" src="http://ip-address of WEB
Server/monitored-device-day.png"></a><p><table>

This will allow you to select the Graph from the Web interface and drill
down to the report page generated by MRTG. I cannot claim I figured this out
myself but Somix did give me some help
when I was Evaluating Denika. You can place as many HTML/PNG items in the
notes field as you need. I have several devices with 2 or 3 graphs being
displayed in Whatsup.

How do you do that? The MRTG graphs in notes fields? Just provide a URL for
the notes?

        Greetings,
Definitely get MRTG You will also need PERL. I have been
running MRTG for 8 months now and I have integrated the Graphs into the
notes field in each item in Whatsup. When you select a item from a map it
displays the PNG graph for that device. It's pretty useful to have one
stop shopping for your data.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] SNMP Threshold Monitor vs. Somix's Denika
Performance Trender
Hi folks,
I'm a new WhatsUp Gold user. I have version 6.02 working
very well. It's a nice program. Now I'm looking to monitor cpu,
disk, router/switch bandwidth and errors. Cisco, Solaris, NT/2000,
and Linux are the different platforms. Should I install the
SNMP Threshold Monitor plugin or should I just opt for the
Denika Performace Trender from Somix? Does anyone have experience
with this?
Thanks,
         Ed
