Alan,
My suggestion is to run a Net Tools IP Scan with the Resolve Names and Map
Results check box selected. However if your Systems are not registered on a
DNS server or WINS server this will not work. Depending on the type of systems
you are scanning (..i.e. NT Servers , Solaris, ect) there are different
ways to accomplish this.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Adding Systems to Map
Hey everyone,
I have a bunch of systems I need to add to a map. I want to use the Discover Devices option, since it's a few hundred. WhatsUp doesn't list any servers for my domain, just workstations. I exported a list of systems from Hyena and tailored it in Excel (Very easy to do with filter, lol). Now, I am trying to find a way to import just a list of server names onto my map. I don't have the IP addresses connected to it so I can't import like a HOST file. Anyone know how I can just import the text list or an easy way to append IP addresses to make it look like a host file? Thanks!
