1. Shut down the WUG service.
2. Wait for a small period of time (I give it 30 seconds, just in case it 
was in the middle of a map scan)
3. Startup the GUI
4. Do whatever you're going to do.
5. Shutdown the gui, and do the short wait thing again.
6. Startup up the WUG service.

This should avoid the GUI and the Service trying to own the maps at the 
same time, they don't believe in sharing.  Never have both going at the 
same time.

I agree with the other responder that this may be a browser refresh issue.
