This begs the question, "Why Ipswitch relying on the Unimodem/V driver
since it is not supported on the most common business OS platforms?"

Voice Notifications are not supported in any version of WhatsUp Gold
running
under Windows 2000. It's always been a desire to have these Notifications
work but the stumbling block has been with Microsoft's Unimodem/V drivers -
something that is outside our control.

I asked IPSwitch why this function is not implemented in version 7.0 for
W2000. I can't understand how a critical system must be running on Windows
98 to have this functionality... but there are no answers about :-((

Does anyone know if voice notifications are possible with What's up Gold
v6.0 running on WIndows 2000? If not, what about version 7.0 running on
Windows 2000?
Thanks.
