I was actually thinking of more for a reference of how our WhatsUp
configuration is setup. I had to set it up fairly quickly so I didn't have
time to write down what I did. I've made a few tweaks here and there since
also.
What I was going to do was start from scratch if I can't find a easier way
of creating some documentation of what we currently have. At this point
starting from scratch wouldn't be too troublesome if that is what I am going
to have to do.

If anyone has any input on this subject I would be thankful.

Kurt

If you are trying to formulate a disaster recovery plan then just do the
default install as a doc with any edits and make an appendix on
restoring the map files, services.ini and hosttype.ini and maybe as a
backup do an export on the INI and XML.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Documentation for WhatsUp installation

Is there an easy way of documenting the configuration of a WhatsUp
installation? Besides starting from scratch and documenting as you go.

Any suggestions?
