The SNMP traps are already included in the Event log... and therefore, are visible at the device level within the Web.
(Syslog logs are not however)

I remember in a earlier version of WUG 7.xx that it did show SNMP traps and syslog.  I'm I wrong?

This would be very nice to have.  What is the point of having WUG collect syslog and traps if it isn't going to display the messages in the log when you look at a device?

I just started to collect this info using WUG.  I know you can look in the syslog log file and the snmp trap log file to find what you are looking for, but wouldn't it be so much easier to click on the device and have it show you the current status and the full log for the device.  The log that it shows only has 1/3 of the info.

Any Ideas on how to view all of the log info for a device on one screen?

I do it by configuring an FTP server on the same machine as WhatsUP Gold. Then I wrote an HTML page with the ftp link. It formats the page nicely as well.

Is there any way to view the syslog or snmp trap log when viewing WhatsUp Gold (v7.04) via a web browser?  This would come in handy for remote troubleshooting.
