When looking at the SERVICE and SERVICE_STATISTICS tags I see that there are
not tags for the service comment, the service argument and the service name
without the above.
I am looking into creating a custom web page that is an MRTG config file.
This way all config info is stored in WUG and MRTG can just use that config
info. But without the above tags I am unable to do this.
>From what I understand Somix doesn't do this. You need to have a separate
config file. (So any adds or changes in WUG aren't saved in MRTG.) Then you
still have to go into the notes fields of each WUG device and add a link to
the graphs. Sounds like a lot of work. I should know that is what I'm
already doing, however with MRTG. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
So, I came up with the idea to just create a new WUG asp page that when
saved would be a MRTG config file. I have figured out how to do this and
how to get MRTG to automatically get the file each time it runs. The
problem is that with out access to monitor/service argument in the asp code
I can't get the interface number for the monitored device. I have included
a piece of my code to see what I'm trying to do. For you who know how MRTG
works you will see why I need this separated.

I guess I have three questions...
1) Am I missing anything? Does anybody else have this working, or
know how to get it done?
2) Does anyone else have WUG and MRTG integrated?
3) Is IP Switch working on this problem?
