I know this is redundant but I need to set up voice notification for our network, I am running WUG 7.04 on a Win2k pro computer. I have a MultiTech multimodem voice serial modem attached via a com 1. I configured mu phone for notification just using the default values but when I send a test it locks up WUG and sends the CPU to 100% use. I check and the .wav files that came with WUG are 16 bit. I know that WUG says that this can't be done on the Win2k OS but I have see post from members that they have it working.
Can someone shed some light on this subject. I need to get this going. We have e-mail messages going out but that is no good if the mailserver, firewall, Net Enforcer, or main router go down. I need another way to get out for these devices. We are using Cingular for cell phones and it looks like the are not going to provide us with paging services at this point.
