Hello Gurus, I have a situation [ :-) ] where I need to monitor status of devices being monitored by another WhatsUp server. Is there a way to do this?
To more describe the situation: I have 2 WhatsUp servers. They monitor different devices. is there a way for WhatsUp_Server_A to monitor the Status (and reflect the status) of devices/submaps being monitored by WhatsUp_Server_B? I am running WhatsUp Gold 7.01. I tried to tweak my brain to use HTTP Content scan but was unsuccessful as I am not a web person. What I was trying is: On WhatsUp_Server_A --> Define an object for WhatsUp_Server_B_submap -> scan for content on word "timed Out" But then the Web Security comes into picture. I tried guest logon with few rights and I think I got it to reach WhatsUp_Server_B but not sure. Has anyone done this before?
