Hi guys, Just installed WUG8 a few weeks ago and slowly I am setting it up to monitor more and more boxes, services and applications. One that I haven't figured out yet is how to monitor and MS SQL service. I have a DELL server which causes me some major headaches. The Gigabit NICS stop responding after a while. I can ping the machine and it replies, but I cannot login to the SQL server. I would like to use WUG to be notified when that box doesn't respond to ICMP pings, TCP pings and when the sql service is silent. My question is: how can I configure WUG to monitor the sql service.
