Oh, sorry for the confusion.  When you said voice, I thought you meant text to speech out the PC Speakers.  I have not tried it using a voice modem.  Sorry.

The voice option does not even show up as an option in 2000.  When I installed on 98, the option magically showed up.  I asked IPSwitch about it, and they confirmed that it does not work with 2000.  Can you give me some specifics about what modem, etc, you have, so I can try that?  Thanks!

When we purchased the software, we were under the assumption that we would have the voice notification option available to us when using Windows 2000. As this is not the case, I decided to give it a try on Windows 98, as we are really interested in the voice feature.

My first question is, is there a workaround to allow us to use the voice with Windows 2000?

If not, then what is the best method to run under Windows 98.  It will not run as a service, so how do you set it up?  Or do you run it manually, and leave it logged in (Not secure)?
