The
TCP services are pretty simple. They do not need SNMP to be monitored as WUG
does connects to the actual service. Just do go into the services area for the
device and do a discovery. It will automagically add the correct services to the
device.
SNMP
stuff is a bit trickier. Traffic has to be done on a per port basis. You will
need to find each interfaces oid and figure out how many octets is too many. CPU
is pretty easy...The common Cisco OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.57.0. The Cisco
memory OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.0. I would suggest looking into a product that
is specifically designed to make this easy, like MRTG or Denika for traffic
monitoring.
