If you are not using PDM, from the CLI just issue the command: no logging message 106021

I'm not familiar with the 501, but on the 520 and 535, using PDM you can filter out these types of messages. Go to System Properties/Logging/Logging Setup/ then add the IDs of the Suppressed Messages. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks, Steve Busby Information Technology Services University of Nebraska Medical Center 985030 Nebraska Medical Center [EMAIL PROTECTED] 402.559.9621 If Linux doesn't have the solution, you have the wrong problem. ***************University of Nebraska Medical Center E-mail Confidentiality Disclaimer *************** The information in this e-mail is privileged and confidential, intended only for the use of the addressee(s) above. This pix sends these "Deny UDP reverse path check" messages every minute or so and they fill the syslog with garbage which is tough to sort through. Is there any way that I could prevent these from showing up when I look at the logs for the pix device in whatsup. I tried to play with the syslog event library with the expression editor...but I'm not sure what this is or how to really use it. Please help as this is getting to be a headache for me. Thanks very much. Jason D.
