Hello, Ipswitch has recently released WhatsUp Gold 8.03, as a free patch for 8.x users.
For information on the enhancements, or to download this patch: http://www.ipswitch.com/Support/WhatsUp/patch-upgrades.html Some of the top 8.03 enhancements include: * Ping packet payload size is reduced for polling pings. The default is a payload size of 32 bytes (74 byte ping packet) *Fixes memory leaks during log file archiving and polling when large XML or INI map sets are used *The polling of SNMP values has been made more error tolerant to lower the chances of false downs. A retry count attribute is available in the SERVICES.INI file for SNMP monitors *Attributes such as ItemFlags and SpecialFlags in INI and XML files are now expanded into well named attributes (such as EnableAlerts, PollingMethod, etc) Regards, Kelly E Anderson Product Marketing Manager Ipswitch, Inc.
