Craig,

The only thing I've found on the automatic side of things for this
specific function is in the tools of the console. Do a trace-route
function and "map the results" (It'll show you some interesting things
about your network you may not have known previously) - It's
'documented' in the user manual on Pg. 241. Unfortunately, even creating
your network maps this way doesn't help identify which device is plugged
into what interface if there is more than one interface and attached
device being monitored on the map (Hey IPSWITCH, add that to your
feature enhancement request list for v9.x! you could like add a small
number next to the line representing the interface number or something
similar).

I have a need of better mapping for WUG.

I would like to map the network but instead of just showing a bunch of
discovered devices, I want to see what switches those devices are
plugged
into and better yet, what ports on those switches.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Craig
