Magnus, Depending on what models etc... the switches should support SNMP, take a visit to http://somix.com a grab the SNMP MIBS for 3COM out of their MIB Library, add those to WUG that should open up a few areas to monitor power/fans etc...
With/without the MIBS, and provided SNMP is enabled on the switches, WUG can still browse them with SNMP to show basic interfaces connected. If I recall... 3COM also have a downloadable GUI that lets you remotely manage their switches via SNMP.
