Hi, Kevin. I think the easiest way is to make a jclouds api (archetype) called "byon" (bring your own nodes:) ) or something. Pallet has something similar already and there's a clear need in jclouds to address this. Benefit is that the control logic of scripts and such would be normalized.
What priority do you have for this?
