you are giving me an interpretation of what you think _my_ tone was. do you
think text conveys that information clearly? i think not. so just like the
beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the tone of the email is in the ear of
the reader :)

so please next time before posting something like this at least read up

it says what i have explained to you in my previous email but in a much
condensed form. notice the word "please". if i was being an asshole i would
simply write:

if you are going to post fud at least do your own damn research to make sure
its relevant and quit wasting our time

and trust me, if i was in that kind of mood i would not have a problem
writing that
no doubt about that :)

My post was intended to elicit a response to help keep people interested
in
Wicket rather than straying to a competing frameworks - just expressing a
concern about what could happen to some, not to me, and knew that you guys
would be the best at addressing. You didn't actually have to research &
respond but I'm glad you did. Since it is helpful to you and makes my
posts
less scary troll-like, I'll do as you request. :-)
Perhaps you can agree that this would have been a better ending line in
your
first post "it wouldve been much nicer if you did the research and
provided
an initial comparison yourself" or even have had your entire post been
"Please do the research and provide an initial comparison yourself then
someone from the core devs could fix whatever they thought was faulty."

Thanks,
Jon
