We have a customer that uses Spring in combination with Wicket. They want to use Spring's MessageSource interface for i18n messages. The Localizer class seems to like the ideal class to extend for this purpose but it cannot be set on the Application class.

What do you want to do with it? It doesn't look like it was meant for
overriding. However, if you have a good usecase, please open up a
feature request for it.

Hey,

Could you provide a setter method for the Localizer instance on the
Application class? Also, could you make the localizer instance not
final?

Thanks
