A quick background: I have been using Wicket since 1.0 RC2 and am now up to 1.1 and very happy with it. I am developing, and close to the first release, of a product that is more of a business application than a traditional website. It will be used in an intranet environment.
First, let me say thank you for developing this framework. It has been easy to learn w/o much documentation available but I am anxious to see the book published. Primarily, my hopes for the book, besides the basics, is a complete discussion on session management and a chapter on performance considerations. I think developers that are really using Wicket, basically get the component hierarchy and modeling concepts, but I for one, could use more insight into some of the internals. This is where a developer could potentially spend a lot of frustrating time trying to figure out memory usage and/or a performance slowdown. Thanks again for all of your time and effort. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
