Well, I'm not a contributor, but I put Wicket through some heavy usage early on. I've been waiting for it to stabilize so I can return to using it. So I am very excited about the impending release of 1.0.
You guys should have a meetup near JavaOne. I'd suggest Zebulon lounge mezzanine because it is free, and quiet on Monday nights. You can reserve it for free by calling first.
