I like the CSS Zengarden a lot. And this might work too, but not on the
sourceforge wicket site for several reasons:
- the wicket web site is static, not a Wicket application
- the wicket web site is hosted on sourceforge.net, which doesn't host
Java web applications
- the wicket web site is our 'business card': the current design is
very good and you just don't change your websites look&feel
- I like the current wicket web site style
I could envision a Wicket example application, where this would become
the main goal: Allow graphics designers to design, and developers to
develop. What kind of application are you thinking about?
We have already the following applications in our portfolio:
- CD App
- Hangman (new version should be necessary to remove the dynamic images)
- Blog like application
- Library example
- ?
How many screens are we talking about? What kind of application are you
thinking? Forum like, document oriented, online shop?

Initial Comment:
Set up something like <a
href="http://www.csszengarden.com/">the CSS Zen
Garden</a> on the Wicket website, and encourage and
allow people to submit new skins. This will,
hopefully, show that real graphic designers can use
their existing tools easily to customize the view
without touching the model or controller as is claimed
in the Wicket documentation.
Why not the Wicket website itself? The whole thing.
It's complicated enough to provide a 'real world'
example, with moving parts. Just add a listbox in the
corner with a label: "select skin".
