Ok, so I tracked down the problem with reloading webapps under Tomcat to this: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27371
and I read their entire discussion but it still isn't clear to me how to fix the problem. I tried copying log4j*.jar into common/lib but that didn't help either. Any ideas how to fix this problem?
