wicket phonebook is a good example to start with.

Under construction, and more specifically /NOT/ by wicket guru's is the Burgerweeshuis project hosted at sourceforge.

It is a dutch project, but you might find some interesting things there. It uses hibernate 3, annotations and wicket. It is a rewrite of a previously Model2 application (based on maverick).
