Typically, you just insert in it the head section of your page. If you
look at Wicket examples, you'll see HelloWorld.html:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"; >
<head>
    <title>Wicket Examples - helloworld</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css"/>
</head>
<body>
    <span wicket:id="mainNavigation"/>
    <span wicket:id="message" id="message">Message goes here</span>
</body>
</html>

that's just it. Things get more complicated when you want to use css
for specific components, e.g. when you create custom components. If
you want that, please search for header contributions.
