I have a link in a table column (MyColumn) and I want to highlight the entire row when I press the link. The functionality that I try to obtain is the same with example from http://www.wicket-library.com/wicket-examples/repeater?wicket:bookmarkablePage=:wicket.examples.repeater.OIRPage but with DataTable (DefaultDataTable) instead DataView for filtering. My problem is that in the column with link (extends PropertyColumn), in populateItem(Item item, ...) method, the item parameter is an instance of Item class and not an instance of MyItem class returned by MyDataTable.newRowItem(...) method. Is it possible to access the MyItem instance from MyColumn instance?
