ok fine by me by not doing that.
it was just an idea.
But maybe it would be nice to configure the listview once and list items inherit it (which property it is :))

we have to be very careful here. once we do this we are opening a pandoras box. what about behaviors? should those be added to items as well? what about other flags and properties?
 

I had to think hard for at least 30 seconds before I understood the
solution. The point is that ListView does not correspond to any markup,
only the ListItems do.

yes and i send an email out that says this exact thing at least once a week. it is something you hve to "get" but once you do its done.
