hm, loading a 8-players save game needs much more time with this branch here. trunk is r9111, both are release builds:
stoppped by hand: trunk: ~ 11 sec. this branch: ~ 24 sec. The main difference when comparing the logs, is this output: Trunk: Second and third phase loading Map Objects ... took 34ms This branch: Second and third phase loading Map Objects ... ALSA lib pcm.c:8424:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occurred took 13645ms So i am not sure if the alsa-thing is the cause of the difference.
