Please clarify if you want the formal definition of the deformation
potential as the variation with strain (or similar) for different bands, as
against using it to derive something else. For the derivative case you will
have to use a reference such as deep core states which you hope stay
constant, e.g. https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0048920.
