You should look outside of Product (notably, Programs & Grantmaking) for projects like the Teahouse that are much more geared towards diversity, but I am sure you are already familiar with them. There’s also a related (and less known) project that was piloted a few months ago to try and gauge gender gap in specific segments of the editor population or editor lifecycle via microsurveys. [1] I’d love to hear from other parties interested in using this model, which I think is promising. <shameless plug>I am also writing up a proposal for a Wikimania talk [2] about targeted acquisitions [3].
