Hey WSC, thanks for the question! I'm Szymon from Movement Communications, working with Trust and Safety Product on temporary accounts. As far as I know, we aren't tracking this (how often we get multiple temporary accounts from the same IP address) as metrics. But we do collect data about this for the purposes of anti-abuse moderation. Users meeting specific criteria can view all contributions made from a given IP address, and all the connected temporary accounts are listed there. Also vice versa, these users can reveal IP addresses used by a given temporary account holder.
In addition, we do track metrics related to community health, like the number of blocked temporary accounts, their reverted edits, IPs, etc. For more details, see the latest project updates: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Trust_and_Safety_Product/Temporary_Accounts/Updates To follow our updates, subscribe to the newsletter: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Newsletter:T%26S_Product_projects.
