Dear Wikipedia editors, The Stanford OVAL Lab<https://oval.cs.stanford.edu/> is developing a research tool to help Wikipedia editors identify and resolve factual inconsistencies across articles.
We are seeking Wikipedia editors to evaluate our research prototype and help us improve its functionality. Our tool streamlines the process of detecting inconsistencies by offering helpful features like fact extraction and improved Wikipedia search. Some of these features use Large Language Models (LLMs) in a controlled manner, with the goal of helping editors find more inconsistencies in Wikipedia with less time and effort. Currently, this tool is in the research prototype stage. With your support, we aim to develop a refined version that will be freely available to the broader community in the future. +++ Interested? Please fill out this form<https://forms.gle/vFLVYNeQtgNUvhwZ8>! +++ If you're interested in learning more about the project, please visit our research project page<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_Inconsistency_Detection>. Questions and feedback are welcome and appreciated.
