Google is not more efficient than our own Wikia search. We need search results that are indexed in real time, so I can make an edit on a wiki page and then find that edit in the search results a minute later.
Google may index pages once a week or so. There's no comparison between Google's search indexing and what we have on Wikia. -- Danny
