Because to provide those statistics would require local hit counters to be turned on. They are not due to the impact it would have on performance. A database write every page access would not work out very well with Wikia's load (many wikis have several million hits a month). It also becomes misleading because the vast majority of hits are served by caches that do not hit the web servers at all. Wikia uses Google Analytics, though I do not know if they have the ability to monitor all individual sites through that, or just the most popular.
