Hi... sorry, been quite busy the last two days but I wanted to give you a more detailed answer on this one.
- When a user selects a skin preference and un-checks the "see custom" box.... they should only see their skin preference everywhere across Wikia. For instance, if I select "monobook" and un-check the "see custom" box... then I see monobook on all wikis (starwars, muppet, marveldatabase, furry, etc.). On wikis such as MarvelDatabase that are under a different domain, you have to make sure you're logged in again and then the preference will be set accordingly. - When a user selects a skin preference and has the "see custom" box checked... they'll see their personal skin preference when a wiki has no "custom" skin. For instance, if I select "monobook" and check the "see custom" box... then I see monobook on muppet and baywatch... but I see Quartz on starwars (it has a fully customized skin). I think what you were asking about is the first one above, is that right? The whole reason we put in the "see custom" option was so that users could decide to see only what they wanted to see regardless of what the default skin setting was for the wiki. The wording of the "see custom" needs to be revisited... Timothy J.
