Well, it looks like my includes/SpecialListusers.php patch has finally been added into trunk: http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki?view=rev&revision=31453
I do have a bit of a suggestion. It may be a good idea to have one of the tech team members apply this to a copy of the 1.10a revision that Wikia has, and then turn the current Listusers mod into an extension which makes use of the new hooks.
